Practice Your R Sound

Use the following table to practice the R sound near different letters and in various positions within words. Read the list to your teacher to find out which R sounds are clear and which are not. Once you know when and why the R sound is hardest for you, you will be able to make progress efficiently.

The words are as similar as possible. When there is no word to exactly fit the row, a close word is used.
