The Prefixes Di and Bi

Pronunciation tips: When di means two, it can be pronounced with Long I or Short I. 
Note: The spelling di is an alternate form of bi.
In most words, di is a shortened form of dis, as in differ.
The prefix bi is usually pronounced with a long I as in hi.  
Often, this prefix is stressed.
