Incentives for Outcomes

Next week, I’ll announce some new incentives for outcomes during classes. I want to help people push to reach their goals in a productive, fun way. In general, students will get a few options to create videos or pass tests in order to get extra classes added to their packages. Since we always customize our classes, these will be customized too–and optional! For those who achieve their goals better with incentives, these options will be ideal.

New Assessments

Usually on assessments, I note all pronunciation words and grammar errors and compute the difference from the pre-assessment to the post-assessment. Now I’m creating a more visual assessment. I’m also adding metrics on intonation and vocabulary. Intonation involves the way words flow together and the rhythm of the sentence. With vocabulary, I’ll be measuring the number of advanced vocabulary words and idioms that you are using. These are also key components of neutralizing an accent and achieving high level fluency.
